F&B Merchants, Please Consider These Things During the Fasting Month

27 April 2021

There are many food and beverages business owners who are still anxious since the pandemic hasn't been over yet, just like the Ramadhan in the last year. We are still being encouraged to stay at home as often as possible to reduce the risk of getting infected by the coronavirus. Nevertheless, there are some opportunities for the F&B merchants to boost their profit in this period. Let's check some solutions we can adapt to our business.

1. Show our affection

We all know that the customer is the king, but not all of us understand how to serve them the best. If you also have trouble in doing this, please consider putting yourselves in their shoes. Think about what we are expecting as the customers to our sellers in this special month. Is it a new product, hot promotion, or maybe special gift?

2. Create the Ramadhan vibe

To adapt effectively, we don’t only need a great product, but also great timing. The entrepreneur who is aware of any special moment will attract the customers’ attention more easily. During this time, try to create the Ramadhan vibes by using the Holy Month theme in our packaging or creating some seasonal products related to Ramadhan.

3. Look for collaboration opportunity

Can you imagine a business that has 100 customers, while the other business has 150 customers? If the two of them run their business as normal, it is difficult for them to increase the selling number significantly. But, if they collaborate by presenting an innovation, it probably will boost their income and expand their network. By the way, CARInih & CARImakan currently collaborates with Paxel has launched program #NYATAKANsalingbantu “Ongkir dari Kamu, Berkah untuk Sesama”, to help less fortunate friends from 10% of delivery fees when transacting at CARInih and CARImakan will be distributed to friends in need.

4. Maintain a strict health protocol

The government has started the vaccination program for some groups, such as health care workers, soldiers, and the elders who are 60 years old or above. However, we all still need to be cautious and wear our mask as this virus has not disappeared. By conducting the strict protocols, we will also gain more trust from the customers as we maintain the product hygienity.

It is true that our battle with the pandemic is still ongoing, even in this Ramadhan. We need to protect each other by wearing a mask and maintaining social distance. But, we have to believe that we are going to pass this situation by synergizing both with our partners and our customers.
